Staff on reception were really nice, rooms clean and well presented, hotel itself was clean, modern and well kept. Good pool area. Food in restaurant was good although the menu was limited. £15 for 1 course, £20 for 2 and £25 for 3. Starter had to be sent back a it was cold but this was rectified and the food was tasty and well cooked. Had the menu been a little more extensive we would have eaten there the second night. However, there is an excellent India restaurant called The Farmhouse just 5 mins in a car.

This is not really a hotel, it is a conference and wedding venue. The hotel is big and sprawling with many many areas layed out for conferences. We expected the hotel to be quiet but did not expect the bar to close at 9.15 on a Saturday night! After complaining it did stay open until 10.15 but even then we had to wait for the bar man to reappear from the restaurant each time we wanted to be served! The hotel is in Eastwood which didn't look a nice place but there is an excellent Indian just 5 mins away. We expected the hotel to be in the middle of no where. Not sure the hotel details on trip adviser or here really represent the place.

We really enjoyed the new years eve party,the rooms were lovely and clean and well appointed.the food was excellent.The leisure facilities were good and the staff very helpful and accomadating eventually.

We were very dissappointed with the lack of things going on ,on NEW YEARS DAY after being offered a special deal for us to stay the extra night.The leisure club closed at 2pm there was nothing going on at all.We appreciate the fact that NEW YEARS EVE was a busy night but we were left completely flat,an entertainment of some sort would have been much appreciated then we wouldnt have had to wonder about away from the hotel to try and find something to end our weekend away.

WE HAD A WEDDING AT THE HOTEL AND GUESTS ALL STAYED FOR THE WEEKEND. WE WERE ALL IMPRESSED WITH THE EXCELLENT SERVICE AND FOOD. NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THE STAFF. WE ARE RETURNING SOON JUST FOR A RELAXING STAY.

THE WARDROBES ARE TOO SMALL.
